Partnership Golf de CASTRES-GOURJADE – SINAFIS
At the beginning of 2022, the Golf de CASTRES-GOURJADE has concluded a technical partnership with the company SINAFIS which is based in Castres.
The company specialises in the design and manufacture of soil quality measurement systems for the agricultural and food industry.
Since the beginning of this year, a SmartGREEN sensor has been installed on one of the golf courses to collect soil moisture and temperature data.
Thanks to this sensor, manufactured a few kilometres from Gourjade, the CASTRES-GOURJADE Golf Club, which becomes the first golf club equipped with this technology, wishes to be part of a resource management approach in order to reduce its water consumption, but also to improve the quality of its turfs.
Indeed, the real-time temperature and humidity data will allow the watering to be regulated as accurately as possible and thus avoid the appearance of moss and fungi.
Through an interface, accessible from a computer, a tablet or a smartphone, the Golf’s gardeners will be able to consult the data curves in order to understand the evolution of the ultra-local weather parameters, and thus achieve these objectives.
A first assessment will be made in the spring.
Partnership Golf de CASTRES-GOURJADE – HUBLOT
The CASTRES-GOURJADE Golf Club and the HUBLOT company, based in the South Tarn, have concluded a win-win partnership.
HUBLOT, a company created by Rémi ESCANDE and Dany WASCAT, specialising in marine clothing, will offer a line of sportswear adapted to the practice of golf which will be available in the Golf Club-House.
HUBLOT will also dress the hostesses and receptionists.
The equipment manufacturer and the golf course will offer products that highlight both brands.
This partnership will allow the two entities to work together on the same territory, with the ambition of collaborating over a long period of time.
The partnership agreement was signed on 13 January at HUBLOT’s premises in the presence of Alexandre PUJOL, President of the Régie du Golf and José MARTINEZ, Deputy General Manager of HUBLOT.
