Last week, the Perelada Golf Club hosted the Senior Ladies Quadrangular organised by AESGOLF DAMAS (Spanish Senior Ladies Golf Association).

This is a four-day friendly amateur tournament involving four teams of 20 players with a maximum world handicap of 24 belonging to the Spanish, French, Italian and Swiss senior women's associations in their countries.

After an initial day of training and familiarisation with the course, the competition began with the Friendship Cup on Tuesday, where the teams were made up of one player from each country. For the official quadrangular competition on days 3 and 4 under the "Fourball best ball Stableford" format, the 7 best results of each day were counted.

The winner was the Italian team, followed by the Spanish team in second place. Third and fourth place went to the French and Swiss teams respectively.

The event was supported by the Patronat de Turisme de la Costa Brava Girona, who presented the destination at the welcome evening and presented all the players with a gift.
